MUSEO DE ANATA

These are a CD collection of the hit sci-fi show Doctor WHO. The iconic science-fiction show "Doctor Who" from the BBC has a massive following.

The Doctor, a time-travelling scientist from another planet known as a "Time Lord," travels across space and time in a police box known as the TARDIS.

A TARDIS is a police box with a larger interior than its exterior and the ability to alter its appearance in response to its environment. The Doctor can change who he is throughout the series because he can alter his biology. The Doctor frequently visits Earth because he cares about it, either to save it or to recruit people to assist him with jobs across the galaxy.

The programme is listed in Guinness World Records as the longest-running science-fiction television show in the world, as the "most successful" science-fiction series of all time from 1961-present. I chose this to be in my Blog post as it was a big part of my childhood, it gives me nostalgia and love for the show. I always used to watch as it kid because it was so entertaining and interesting to watch.

The picture from the museum exhibit is a Muse CD album cover. English rock group Muse was founded in Teignmouth, Devon, in 1994. Matt Bellamy, Chris Wolstenholme, and Dominic Howard make up the group. Showbiz, Muse's self-titled debut album, was released in 1999. The group has created some well-known songs including

the songs "Super Massive Black Hole," "Starlight," "Our Time Is Running Out," "Hysteria," "Plug in baby" and many others have helped Muse establish themselves as one of the greatest bands in British music history. Even the most casual listener may recognize their songs because of their distinctive sound and lead singer Matt Bellamy's distinctive falsetto.

Black Holes And Revelations, a strong, uplifting epic album that elevates the band's music to a whole new level, marks a daring new direction for Muse. MUSE sold more than 17 million albums globally, including 3,500,000 in the US and 4,000,000 in the UK, according to Warner Music Japan. BLACK HOLES AND REVELATIONS, which sold more than 3,287,191 copies, is MUSE's best-selling album. I chose that item from the museum exhibit as its currently one of my favourite bands, not as good as Coldplay but Muse has some really good music that I recommend you to listen! Their songs always make me relaxed or hyped.

The two-peso note was a unit of currency in the Philippines. On the final publication of the bill, José Rizal was shown on the front side, while the Declaration of Philippine Independence was shown on the back. Before it was demonetized in 1993, this note was in use.
I chose this to be in my blog post about the museum exhibit because it seems to be really interesting on how a 2 peso bill existed before because it seems pretty useless.

With the exception of the San Francisco issue, the 1908 Barber Quarters were coined in large quantities and are usually regarded as common. The 1908-S Barber quarter, which was struck in fewer than 1 million pieces, is the difficult date of the group of quarters from that year. In 1908, more than 4 million quarters were produced in Philadelphia, Detroit, and New Orleans alone.

The Barber Quarter, which was created in the late 1800s and early 1900s, was essential to Americans' day-to-day financial lives. The quarter has been in circulation for many years and is now regarded as a part of American history and a collectible.

I picked this to be in my Blog post because based on my research, that type of coin has a played a pretty big part in American history and that's pretty interesting, I just wished that more info was given about it during the museum exhibit.

Fossils are the remains of prehistoric animals and plants.

A fossil is not the actual bone or leaf, but rather an exact copy of the original object made from minerals. Fossils take millions of years to form and are very important to scientists. People dig them out of the rocks that surround them in a process called "excavating." The vast majority are found in sedimentary rock layers. This kind of rock forms when mud, and small pieces of sediment are squeezed by layers of debris which pile on top of them. Over millions of years, the layers become so tightly compressed that they turn into sedimentary rock. This type of rock also tells us how old things are.

Since the newest layers are closest to the surface, the deeper the object, the older it must be. Scientists have calculated how old the different layers of rock are, and that's one way they can date the fossils they find. Fossils have been found on every continent on Earth (even Antarctica)! There may even be fossils in your own backyard!   I picked this to be in my Blog post because Fossils are really interesting, especially to have on infront of you. Fossils taught us on what life was like hundreds of millions of years ago and to have the opportunity to hold and see some if it is pretty cool.
